Two-Wheeler Riding Class

The Lonavla Women’s Foundation organized a Two-Wheeler Riding Class with the aim of promoting independence, mobility, and confidence among women.

The Lonavla Women’s Foundation organized a Two-Wheeler Riding Class with the aim of promoting independence, mobility, and confidence among women. The initiative was designed to equip participants with a practical life skill that enables greater self-reliance in their daily lives.

The training covered the fundamentals of riding, including balance, control, road awareness, and basic safety measures. Participants were guided through hands-on practice sessions in a structured and supportive environment, ensuring that even first-time learners felt comfortable and encouraged.

A strong emphasis was placed on road safety, responsible riding, and understanding traffic rules, enabling women to not only learn the skill but also adopt safe and confident riding habits. The sessions were paced to suit different learning levels, allowing participants to progress at their own comfort.

The class saw enthusiastic participation, with many women overcoming initial hesitation and gaining confidence through practice. Beyond learning to ride, the initiative played a significant role in fostering independence and expanding everyday opportunities for women within the community.

Community is not built in offices. It is built in moments shared together.
